Tsion Molla (2003) es una fotógrafa y estudiante de Comunicación Audiovisual y Medios en Addis Abeba, donde reside actualmente. Como artista está profundamente interesada en la narración, con una inclinación cada vez mayor por la fotografía documental. Su trabajo se centra en capturar la vida cotidiana, las emociones humanas y los momentos tranquilos que a menudo pasan desapercibidos, aquellos instantes sutiles entre eventos y entre movimientos. A través de sus imágenes pretende explorar narrativas personales y colectivas, al tiempo que preserva la memoria y fomenta la reflexión sobre el espacio y sus habitantes.
Con anterioridad ha participado en la exposición colectiva online bajo el título I’d Be Empowered If, que presentaba las obras de algunas fotógrafas africanas para favorecer el cambio, muestra organizada por Unpublished Africa entre marzo y abril de 2025. Esta experiencia reforzó su compromiso con la narración visual y su afán por contribuir a los debates en torno a la identidad, el empoderamiento y su representación.
En la actualidad Tsion aspira a seguir desarrollando su práctica como fotógrafa documental, utilizando la fotografía como herramienta para la empatía, la verdad y una comprensión social más profunda.

Tsion Molla (2003) is a photographer and a student of Audiovisual Communication and Media in Addis Ababa, where she currently resides. As an artist, she is deeply interested in storytelling, with a growing inclination toward documentary photography. Her work focuses on capturing everyday life, human emotions, and the quiet moments that often go unnoticed—those subtle instants between events and movements. Through her images, she seeks to explore personal and collective narratives, while preserving memory and fostering reflection on space and its inhabitants.
She previously participated in the online group exhibition titled I’d Be Empowered If, which showcased the works of several African female photographers to promote change; the exhibition was organized by Unpublished Africa between March and April 2025. This experience reinforced her commitment to visual storytelling and her desire to contribute to debates surrounding identity, empowerment, and representation.
Currently, Tsion aspires to continue developing her practice as a documentary photographer, using photography as a tool for empathy, truth, and a deeper social understanding.
