Mahnaz y Somayeh son dos primas de etnia hazara en su veintena. Actualmente se encuentran en Afganistán, su país de origen. Comenzaron a hacer fotografía después de la llegada al poder de los talibanes en 2021 tras experimentar la necesidad de expresar el afán de libertad y de denunciar las condiciones en las que viven mujeres y niñas actualmente dentro de sus fronteras.

Mahnaz and Somayeh are two Hazara cousins in their twenties. They are currently in Afghanistan, their home country. They began taking photographs after the Taliban came to power in 2021, experiencing the need to express their desire for freedom and to denounce the conditions in which women and girls currently live within their borders.
