Altayeb Abd Allah (Sennar, 2005) es un joven estudiante y fotógrafo amante de la literatura de su país. Tras la expansión de la guerra, él y su familia tuvieron que desplazarse al pueblo natal de su madre, Alalyaab, al norte del país. Allí experimentó un tipo de migración interna poco habitual al sentirse totalmente conectado con sus orígenes. Acudió a la fotografía para navegar y explorar por sus emociones en tiempos difíciles, suponiendo esta una herramienta para expresar sus ideas y conocerse. Capturó la esencia de su comunidad, su lucha y la resiliencia que, según él explica, define sus vidas. La cámara le convirtió en narrador de historias y le ofreció la oportunidad de conectar con las gentes del lugar para mostrar la belleza y la profundidad que implica la experiencia de ser humanos.

Altayeb Abd Allah (Sennar 2005) is a young student and photographer who loves his country’s literature. After the spread of the war, he and his family had to move to his mother’s hometown, Alalyaab, in the north of the country. There, he experienced an unusual kind of internal migration, feeling completely connected to his origins. He turned to photography to navigate and explore his emotions during difficult times, finding it a tool to express his ideas and understand himself. He captured the essence of his community, their struggle, and the resilience that, he explains, defines their lives. The camera transformed him into a storyteller and offered him the opportunity to connect with the local people to show the beauty and depth of the human experience.
